We don't talk. Well, we do a little, but less than you would
normally expect when four twenty-somethings get together. Our fourth meeting this past Tuesday was a prime example. When we sat down to dinner we made a few comments on how tasty Emily's cooking was and promptly fell silent. So silent that Rick had to launch into a lengthy explanation of the differences between the four
Gospels. Sharon also got first-hand experience this on Sunday as she sat in a car with
Rocio, Emily, and Alain. According to my sources, the only way to break the silence was the perform an
Awkward Turtle. (see link in
chatbox) The real reason that we are so silent is that we don't
need to talk. Even Sharon can attest to this in a recent chat session, "I went on to how you guys probably communicate telepathically." That, my friends, is how well God has allowed our team to mesh.
Ok, seriously though, when we have discussions they are really good. We have a lot to say and it's really
quality stuff. Maybe we need to get to know each other better so we can do the not so deep conversations? See Emily, we don't see too much of each other, we are still getting to know one another. But until we feel more comfortable,
Rocio will have to continue making her comments at the dinner table about how quiet it is.
Now for the good stuff, more pictures:
