Medical/Computer

Some emailing between us and the Copelands in Poipet (medical ministry):

Dear Rocio and Emily,

Thanks so much for your help with the ultrasound! We really count on that device for our day to day evaluations at the CTC. It’s a pretty expensive piece, too. Valued at over$20K, so thanks for being gentle with it. Hopefully, they’ll send it back to you in the same hardy black typerwriter case I sent it in – strong and tough.

Chris has a couple of ideas about things to bring (if it’s not too late). If you have access to medical items, we need NG Tubes of any size (but esp. 16 and 14), IV tubings, Dial-a-flow, extension tubing for IVs, silk tape, ABD pads, IV Cath sizes 16 and 18s, nasal airways, IV lidocaine (for arrythmias), IM/IV Benadryl, sutures (any types), size 6 sterile gloves, chucks, electronic thermometer disposable sleeve, Ibuprofen (any OTC generic brand). I know that is a lot, late. Sorry it took so long for us to get around to the e-mail for this. No worries if you don’t have time or access to such items. We’re just looking forward to having you here again with us – ‘cause ya’ll are FUN!

Please keep us updated on the U/S situation – it’ll help us breathe easier once we know it’s safely in your hands.

Hi, Rocio,

Thanks for asking. Our computer just needs a good evaluation to straighten out boot up messages and maybe safely deleting old programs. I’d like to better synchronize programs and files between my laptop and my PC. I have a USB hub to allow up to 4 computers to hook up and play a game, but can’t seem to make it work for more than 2 at a time. I don’t know of any computer equipment that we need. Looking forward to meeting Alain and seeing what he can do. Thanks!

Ya’ll come, Kent and Chris
