Greetings everybody! I'm sure you're all anxious to know how we have been faring thus far. Since you are reading this update you already know that we are still alive. =P After almost twenty hours in the air and a transfer at Taipei, we are now at Ho Chi Min City in Vietnam. We still have one remaining flight that will take us to Siem Reap bringing us to our long-awaited destination of Cambodia. That’s when the real fun begins. For now we are still waiting and franticly bloging and emailing at Sky Net Cafe. Yes you read correctly, Sky Net. Don't these people know the implications of naming an Internet cafe Sky Net?!? Well, there’s no sign of an impending nuclear strike against all of humanity... yet.
So what was the most interesting event so far on our adventure? Well I guess it would have to be when a total stranger came up to me in the Taipei transit terminal to tell me that my fly was unzipped. (cough cough *zip*) Uh, excuse me. Yea... what a way to start a mission trip, and we're not even in Cambodia yet. Other than that, Emily slept practically the whole flight and didn't get airsick. Praise God for answering our prayers there. Rocio slept well also, and managed to do it according to Cambodia time. For Alain and I sleep has been somewhat sporadic and short so we'll see how well we do with the jet lag after the first day.
Thanks for checking up on us, and thank you for your continuing prayers of support. You'll hear from us again once we land... hopefully. (=
