Cambo Meeting

We had another Cambodia Team meeting today. I was really excited about it, I enjoy being a part of this team more and more every time we get together. Aside from being exciting, today was a day of stretching for me. The meeting was held at my house and that meant that I had to cook. O_o If you know me, my culinary expertise encompasses making toast and sticking things in the microwave, that's it! Fortunately everyone seemed pretty happy with the food, we at least no one ran for the bathroom, Alain even got seconds. No one had desert though, which was OK since I didn't make it, but I don't know if that is because they forced themselves to eat my food and no longer had an appetite for desert, or because my food was good and they were full. =P But never mind any of that, thanks guys for being gracious guests, I really had fun entertaining you all. During the meeting we talked about our personality test results and shared with each other about our own personality traits. This was the other way that I was stretched, I am not used to talking about myself, not to more than one person at a time and not to people that I haven't already known for years. I also don't particularly do well in being the object of attention for a group while monologuing. I usually feel flustered if I have to say more than a few sentences in front of more than one or two close friends. But all this is good because God is stretching me and hopefully I am growing. I hope there will be much more of this before this summer comes to and end.
